Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear.

Grizzly Bear has been busy the past year, touring with Radiohead and releasing their album Veckatimest in 2009.  Collaborations with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Dirty Projectors and Beiru, tv appearances on The Dave Letterman Show and more notably, praise from Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood and Jay-Z, make this band a standout amongst others.

The Stokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas just released his first solo album Phrazes for the Young November of 2009.  Although there are similar sounds as The Strokes, Julian excutes his album well.  Check out the track “11th Dimension.”
