BONNIE PRINCE BILLY My favorites are “Strange Form of Life” and “Lay and Love.”
Will Oldham, his real name, is from Louisville, Kentucky and has been in the music scene for about 15 years.  His Americana, folk style are in the likes of Tom Waits, Johnny Cash and Bon Iver.  He’s appeared in a few films but is concentrated on music, where his most recent studio album Beware was released on March 17, 2009.

Continuing on my streak of world music, Iranian-Armenian guitarist and composer ARMIK truly transports you to another world.  Don’t let the quirky photo fool you, his flamenco and jazz influences are displayed by his guitar strums and lifts with a band accompaniment.  Consistently appearing on Billboard’s top ten songs for New Age music, it’s surprising that isn’t a buzz…yet.
